I took a year off!

Wow, I took 2016 off because I felt like I had done everything that I wanted to do. I guess I should not have done that because, let's face it, 2016 was a shit year. So many beloved celebrity deaths, my husband lost his father, the election, I "lost" my job (I don't know...I was traded/sold to a different company. That last one was a double edge. While I feel like I went through a divorce, it was for the best. I was so unhappy at my old company, the new management and I did not agree on what was happening. I had lost a lot of techs and our department was holding on, but just barely. Our new home has a great group of people who know what they are doing. They have embraced me with open arms and I am truly happy! 2016 also included a new (to me) car and a new washer and dryer (after three floods). I read 14 books, which is so many less than I wish I had read, but life often gets in the way.

My wish for 2017 is that it is full of happiness, laughter, and prosperity. And love and understanding and acceptance. I am also going to try the one-a-day again. Though they will probably be weekly posts. I will be answering questions from the 5-day journal.

Here goes nothing! Bye Felicia, 2016. Hello beautiful 2017!
