I made it 5 hours yesterday with the new contacts. Today I made it 7. I'd like to make it 10-12 tomorrow and 16 by the end of the month. I really hate having to take them out because I have to put on my glasses and my prescription is really old and they don't fit my face. I am contemplating asking them about getting a cheap-o pair that would work better for the off times. For now I am going to just either do glasses or the old contacts, but based on what I've heard wearing the sclerals for 12-16 hours shouldn't be a big deal eventually.

I survived my new eyes! This is going to take a lot of getting used to. Also this goober helped me open the bag.

First, I learned today that it totally works to dry curly hair with a t-shirt. Neat-o.

Had my first scleral lens fitting today. So difficult to get it, but they fit really well. The doc says that with the lenses and my prescription that I will have the best vision ever. In fact, I read the 20/20 line today which was so cool.
