April 13th

First time getting a bountiful basket...woo!

That's: about ten peppers, romaine lettuce, spinach, three yellow onions, five tomatoes, mushrooms, ten tangerines, a bag of  "extra fancy" Washington Fuji apples, blackberries, nine stubular bananas, and three avacados. For only $15!

Check bountifulbaskets.org for a location near you!

March 24th

Went to a BBQ with some of Sam's work friends...a little weird for two socially awkward penguins so we stopped for a treat.

Never seen that on a yogurt cup before. Neat.
(Thanks phone for not posting and thanks me for deleting the picture....)
My yogurt cup told me to smash it when I am done to save wildlife.

March 21st

I have NO idea why I just got 4 cavities filled this month.
Oh wait, it was because I was a stubborn dummy who refused to go to the dentist...for reasons.

Cooking is fun and sometimes a chore...today it is fun. De-stressing with a bunch of comfort food....half steaks, sauteed mushrooms, salad, corn bread, and mac & cheese.

January 3rd

This one deserves an explanation...my lovely, wonderful, helpful husband had a day off and asked if there was anything he could do around the house. I mentioned that the pantry was a mess and since he works in a grocery store...well it wasn't a stretch. Little did I know that he would do such a great job that it would reveal that I really am resistant to change. I actually got upset that he had changed everything and thrown out some sort of expired things of which I wasn't quire ready to let go. Needless to say, he was so proud of himself and I am such a butt for being upset.

Thank you, dear, the cat was right, you did a wonderful job!
