Terrible day. One of our techs is leaving. Not only does this leave us even more empty handed, I am sad to see him go. He is an amazingly bright and patient person and it will be impossible to replace him. I was angry that he didn't tell me to my face and we had a text exchange about his actions. Come to find out it was a little too sad for him to tell me. That touches my heart in a very special way. Our technicians, though all older than me, are like my children.

Such a great night. My childhood friend came over last night. We have lost and regained touch over the last 10 or so years, recently starting to text. She lives across the country but was back in town to visit family. It was so nice to see her! She got to meed my husband and I got to meet her guy. Very good times.
